Policy/Audit
Policy
Health and safety regulation stipulates that an organisation with more than five employees must have a written health and safety policy. This policy must be communicated to all staff and visitors.
Prince’s could refresh or improve your existing health and safety policy document, or as an alternative, could draft a new document for your use, which with minor amendment should serve its purpose for several years to come.
Your policy should:
Set out your company's commitment to manage your risks and meet your legal duties
Inform employees of their legal duties
Explain the steps that they need to take to meet their legal duties
Creating a policy can be the first step towards achieving an Environmental Management System Standard such as ISO14001.
Audit
Like any other business management system, health and safety management requires ongoing evaluation of its effectiveness. This is best achieved through scheduled audits of the system. Prince’s have extensive experience of conducting audits over a wide variety of industry types.
