Q. Why do I need Health and Safety?

A. It is a legal requirement placed on all employers, of all sized organisations.

Q. Why should I spend my company’s profits on Health and Safety?

A. To help prevent accidents, reduce insurance premiums and protect the company together with its Safety Representatives from legal action or other penalties. Additionally, the true cost of accidents in the workplace (sick pay, hire of temporary staff or overtime, reduced productivity) is easily overlooked. In almost every case prevention is better than cure, and will cost you less!
